Rebirth of a clinic after a fire.
A clinic in the Bajed Kandala refugee camp in Iraq, home to 14,000 internally displaced people from the Yazidi community, was destroyed by fire in December 2022.
Nine people, including six health professionals, worked full time in the clinic and the adjacent community center.
The reconstruction of the clinic after a fire had drained the Organization's savings. The intervention of Poremma Foundation allowed the medical and obstetric support activities to restart at a crucial time. The people hosted in the refugee camp now have fundamental support again.
