Reason #2

Desperate Situations

You recognize extreme need when you see it.

We made a choice.

We had to specialize, and made our choice. We choose the areas that are the most obvious in terms of need. We want to help those people in a practical way. This is what motivates us to take action, and it may well match our best ability to help.

We help only in specific areas of need.

We support projects helping people in areas such as slavery; those enduring profound poverty who are devoid of institutional support; the homeless; and people without access to basic healthcare. We also support victims of violence.

We bear in mind these priorities, and despite some project areas being very important, we choose to stick to our priorities. We tend not to focus on areas such as: awareness projects, long-term educational projects, the environment, and the arts.

We help only in specific areas of need.

The only essential element is that the quality of the project stands out.
